In Germany some years ago the ADAC, the (German equivalent of the AA in the UK) did a series of tests to determine the benefits of Unimog over alternative equipment in the area of Winter Maintenance and, indeed, the wider role of highways multi-purpose vehicles. The results are still impressive today.
