Unimog: Pick-up Hitch – Rear Linkage – Subframe | |
1 | Agricultural hydraulic Pick-up Hitch (New vehicle) |
Designed and manufactured in-house at South Cave Tractors, this MBUK approved | |
design is recommended equipment for all new UK Unimogs destined for the | |
agricultural sector with more than 50 units currently in service. Includes: Ex-works | |
supply, assembly and installation at SCT plus waxoyl finish, hydraulic, hoses, fittings, oil | |
and hook insert (traditional drawbar and 80mm ball style inserts are also available) | |
2 | Optional Valves for PUH operation |
Switching and valves modification to electronically divert hydraulic flow to the PUH | |
freeing up additional service lines to the rear. | |

8 | Drawbar Insert for Pick-up Hitch |
It is possible to request a traditional drawbar, Pin style insert for your South Cave | |
Tractors Hydraulic Pick-up Hitch in addition to the standard agricultural hook supplied | |
with the unit. By the simple removal of a locking pin the hook can be removed and | |
replaced with the drawbar insert to suit trailers pre-fitted with an appropriate ‘eye’ | |
connector (requires 35mm drawbar pin, not included) | |
9 | 80mm Ball Insert for Pick-up Hitch |
It is possible to purchase an 80mm ball style insert for your South Cave Tractors | |
Hydraulic Pick-up Hitch in addition to the standard agricultural hook supplied with the | |
unit. By the simple removal of a locking pin the hook can be removed and replaced | |
with the 80mm ball insert to suit trailers pre-fitted with a corresponding ‘spoon’ | |
connector (not included). | |
Rear PTO Bolt-on stub-shafts and bobbin | |
10 | The factory fitted Werner rear PTO mounted to some Unimog UGE models can be adapted to |
work in harmony with the South Cave Tractors pickup hitch extending the reach of the PTO | |
output shaft to improve connection and removal of the implement drive shaft. Three types of | |
stub shaft design are available to suit the majority of UK connection requirements. | |
